Hurricane Dorian - Library Closed

Update 9/5/2019: The library system will reopen to normal operating hours on Monday, September 9.

9/1/19, 7:30pm - Due to Hurricane Dorian, all locations of the Beaufort County Library System will be closed until further notice.

  • Please keep your borrowed materials.

  • Please do not place items in or near book drop.

  • Overdue fines accrued during hurricane will be forgiven (until Monday, Sep 9)

  • All library events and meeting room bookings scheduled for this week are canceled.

  • Updates regarding reopening will be posted to our homepage.
