The Library will be closed starting at 5:00pm on Wednesday, November 27 through Friday, November 29.
The goal of the Artist in Residence program is to foster engagement between visitors/patrons of the Beaufort County Library and the various disciplines of our artistic community. The resident artists will be engaged in sharing and teaching their craft while using a designated space in the library. The Artist in Residence program gives artists, performers, authors and makers of all types and disciplines the ability to work freely in their own studio space while sharing their work and artistic process with the community and providing learning opportunities and programs for library customers.

Are you our next Artist in Residence? Apply to share and teach your craft at the library! The selected artist will receive a $1,000 grant from the Public Library Foundation of Beaufort County. Applications for the Winter 2025 (February/March) cycle will be accepted through September 6, 2024. Apply now!
