How to Get Your Beaufort County Library Borrower's Card |

About Library Borrower's Cards
Are free to all Beaufort County residents ages 4 and up. (A parent or legal guardian is required to sign for children who are 4-14 years old.)

May be obtained at any branch library location upon verification of name and address.

May be used at all Beaufort County Public Library locations (and subject to each library's policy at the University of South Carolina at Beaufort Library and the Technical College of the Lowcountry Learning Resources Center ).
Visitors' Cards
- Visitors's
cards are available for $25.00 per year to people who do not live
or own property in Beaufort County and are not students at the
Technical COllege of the Lowcountry or USC Beaufort.
- Visitors'
cards do not require a 2-week waiting period for verification.
- Visitors complete the same registration form as residents (use your Beaufort County address as your primary address and list your permanent address as your secondary address on the application). Proof of address is required for your permanent address.
