"Magnolia
Cow " is the most recent incarnation
of Cowolina, the "Roving
Cow" that has been repainted several times since the
original "Cows on Vacation" event. She is the creation
of self-taught artist Don Chavis of Bennetsville, SC, where
the cow had been pasturing before returning to Beaufort (Lowcountry
National Bank borrowed Magnolia Cow for the 2002 Water Festival
Grand Parade and for temporary display at its location).
