Halloween Fun Festival and Pumpkin Decorating Contest

The Children’s Room at St. Helena Library will be accepting small decorated (no cutting allowed!) pumpkins throughout the month of October. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded the night of the festival. Your pumpkin decoration must be related to a book in some way. Check our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/sthelenabranchlibrary to see examples. Carved pumpkins will not be accepted.
 
Come participate in an apple biting contest, costume parade, book walk, and a gross feely table! Apple cider and popcorn will be served.  See who will win the Pumpkin Decorating Contest!
 
No registration required. All ages welcome. Most games are appropriate for ages 4-10.
 
Immediately following this program will be the Ghost Story Festival for adults, teens, and older children. Local storytellers will weave ghostly tales by lantern-light. (7:00-8:00pm).
