The Bargain Box was established in 1965 as a thrift store to serve the less fortunate of Hilton Head Island and all of Beaufort County. Since that time it has given over $10 million in cash grants to local charities and social agencies, as well as providing other tangible resources for those organizations.

Beaufort County SC Democrats
All Executive Committee Meetings will normally be held at on the third Monday of each month at the Comprehensive Health Center, Rt. 170, Okatie, beginning at 7 p.m. Social gathering at 6:30 p.m.
Beaufort County SC Democrats - North of the Broad Club
Meetings: Second Thursday of the month at Sea Island Conference Center, 178 Sam’s Point Road, Lady's Island.
All programs begin at 7:00 p.m., preceded by refreshment/social time at 6:30 p.m. A short business meeting will follow the program.
Beaufort County SC Democrats - South of the Broad club
Steering Committee meetings are held the second and forth Wednesday of every month at 2pm in the Community Room of Palmetto Electric Cooperative, 111 Matthews Drive, Hilton Head Island 29926.
